This is our regular National Trust property but we've not been for a while. The new improved farm playground is great, with areas for kids of all ages. It is incredibly busy though so if you want a relaxing time away from people you might want to opt for the walk to the folly or around the edges of the property. The staff on hand today took us around some of the parts you don't normally see so we saw bulls and heffers up close, and some of the shire horse being exercised.

Wimpole is always a great day out for the whole family. From the Home Farm to the walled gardens and walks.

Really good for the children on a nice day. It's educational and a lovely outdoor activity. My children enjoyed the experience there.
It is pricey if you don't have any vouchers.
The car park is now a proper car park which can hold a few hundred cars - much better than before.
Being your own hot drinks, the cafes are chock-a-block.

Great rare breeds farm, our favourite part is the piggery 😊

Another excellent NT attraction, although there could be more information about the families that lived there throughout the years. Of course, the room guides have excellent knowledge, but they are not always there.
Still a good day out with plenty of walks.
